Weyford Junior School works closely with Weyford Infant School and Nursery to ensure the children receive the best possible curriculum opportunities across the primary years. The two schools share the same core purpose.

The core purpose of the Weyford Schools is to provide the very best educational experience for every child where all people have high aspirations, achieve highly and become the very best person they can be. Together we support learning and life.
Overall Curriculum Aim
At Weyford we aim for the curriculum to develop confident, curious, resilient learners. We want all our children to believe in themselves and to be proud of their achievements. We work hard to provide children with a wealth of positive learning experiences which help them to grow in independence, make good progress and achieve at the highest level possible. We want our children to be effective members of our school community and, eventually, to become capable members of society. Ultimately we want our children to enjoy their time in school and to nurture a love of learning as they become the best person they can be.
Further information about our curriculum is provided within our 'Partners in Learning' booklet and also in our phase newsletters, which are issued every term. Any additional questions regarding our curriculum can be obtained from the school office.
